Local tech company Open Solutions begins mapping exercise for resilience building

On Saturday, January 21, 2023 Open Solutions embarked on a mapping exercise to expand knowledge of communities and empower citizens to plan effectively to reduce disaster risk and build resilience.

In collaboration with the Humanitarian Open Street Map Team (HOT), Swiss Re Foundation and The Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), Open Solutions will compile data to measure risk and enhance Dominica‟s capacity to respond to climate change impacts.
